He [Jesus] told them this parable: "No one tears a patch from a new garment and sews it on an old one. If he does, he will have torn the new garment, and the patch from the new will not match the old. And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the new wine will burst the skins, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins.”

YAYA MINISTER
Hi everyone! My name is Andrew Hyde and I’m
the YAYA Minister for Ottawa Presbytery. I’m fairly
new to Ottawa, having recently moved here from
Hamilton with my wife and 2 kids. My role here is
to help coordinate the Camp Awesome program
and help give support to Youth & Young Adult ministry leaders across presbytery. I have a passion for YAYA ministries and the people involved in them, so if you have a similar calling, I’d love to chat.

JOIN THE YAYA MINISTRIES COMMITTEE
The Youth & Young Adult Ministries Committee supports the work of congregations as they seek to minister to young adults and teens across presbytery. We are very involved in Camp Awesome, providing training and resources for youth ministry, and creating opportunities for young adults to be the Church in the Ottawa area. The committee is currently looking for new members, so if you have a heart for this kind of ministry, contact Rev. Steve Clifton at sclifton@bellnet.ca. The YAYA Ministries Committee tends to meet at 4pm, prior to every meeting of Ottawa Presbytery.
Unfortunately the high school sleep-over event had to be cancelled because of low registrations. Stay tuned for future high school events.
